Palamut Zamanı (Bonito Season), the first play written and directed by Çağan Irmak, brings the intersecting lives of two women to the stage in a story that stretches from social media’s lynch culture to loneliness. Continuing its run at Zorlu PSM in January, the production has been playing to sold-out houses thanks to the intense interest it has drawn since opening night.
A co-production by Most Production and Zorlu PSM, the play offers an emotional journey from the glitter of fame to the depths of loneliness, with a strong cast made up of Ayda Aksel, Alina Boz, Bekir Erdem Öz, Sezer Arıçay, Dila Yağcı, Melisa Berberoğlu and Özcan Ateş.
On 18 and 19 January, Palamut Zamanı invites audiences to an evening full of melancholy and hope at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage.
Written and directed by Çağan Irmak and starring Ayda Aksel and Alina Boz, Palamut Zamanı – a Most Production and Zorlu PSM co-production – presents theatregoers with a powerful story of women spanning two generations. The play meets audiences at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage on 18 and 19 January.
Crossing the paths of a young woman forced to face society’s judgement and the lynch culture of social media and a woman who, swept up in the winds of a seaside town, has built her own life with joy and freedom, Palamut Zamanı tells a powerful story of healing that becomes as much an intergenerational reckoning as a personal one.
Telling a story familiar to anyone walking the fine line between the fear of being forgotten and the courage to start again, Palamut Zamanı is at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage on 18–19 January!
