Searchlight Pictures has released a new trailer for “Behemoth!”, written and directed by Tony Gilroy and starring Pedro Pascal. The film opens in cinemas on 8 January.
Gilroy, known for Michael Clayton, Duplicity and The Bourne Legacy and as the creator of the series Andor, tells the story of Alex Serian (Pedro Pascal), a celebrated cellist who returns to Los Angeles to start a new chapter as a film composer. The return draws Alex not only into a musical struggle but into a searing personal reckoning with his past.
At the heart of the story are his complicated relationships with his brother Andy (Will Arnett) and father Peter (Hank Azaria), unfinished business with his former partner Carol (Olivia Wilde) and a budding romance with his colleague Nadia (Eva Victor).
Nine composers came together for the score: James Newton Howard, Alan Silvestri, Brandon Roberts, Michael Abels, Emily Bear, Lukas Frank, Michael Giacchino, Henry Jackman and Nami Melumad. The film is produced by Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy.
