With “Pay What You Want”, launched especially for the Atta Festival taking place on 20–23 November out of its belief in the transformative power of culture and the arts, Paribu Art – Istanbul’s newest and most innovative multi-voiced stage – is letting audiences set ticket prices themselves. The scheme, which puts Paribu Art’s vision of accessible art into practice, aims to bring more children into contact with the arts and to make everyone feel that art belongs to them.
Paribu Art, a meeting point for everyone who thinks, dreams and creates together, has launched the “Pay What You Want” scheme especially for the Atta Festival, to help more children encounter the arts and to support making art accessible to all. Reflecting Paribu Art’s aim of enabling everyone to experience the same stage, the scheme lets audiences set their own ticket prices for selected performances of Atlas, To Be, Bully Bully and Pezzettino, staged during the festival on 20–23 November.
“Pay What You Want”, through which Paribu Art aims to strengthen social responsibility, solidarity and a sense of togetherness, applies to tickets bought at www.tiyatrolar.com.tr. While aiming to make art accessible to all and to multiply the ways of taking part, Paribu Art will, through “Pay What You Want”, bring art and audiences together on a more open, sharing and inclusive footing.
The Atta Festival, Türkiye’s international arts festival for babies and children, will be staged at Paribu Art this year with artists from the Nordic-Baltic countries, France, Ireland and Türkiye. Bringing theatre, dance, music and interactive content to a wide audience – from babies aged 0–3 to children and young people aged 0–18, families and educators – the festival will create a child-centred, multi-voiced and creative atmosphere on the Paribu Art stage.
