Janoska Ensemble, which brings contemporary interpretations to classical music and has made its name on international stages, meets music lovers at the Atatürk Cultural Centre (AKM) on the evening of Saturday 7 February 2026 with a concert programme prepared specially for Valentine’s Day. With a selection stretching from Vivaldi to Beethoven, the ensemble is set to offer a multi-layered stage narrative that pairs the classical heritage with contemporary interpretation.
The world of culture and the arts is gearing up for a special event that invites us to rethink the rich heritage of classical music through contemporary interpretation. Bringing together classical music, jazz and the deep-rooted Romani musical heritage of Central Europe on a single stage, Janoska Ensemble is known for its sold-out performances on international stages.
Having reached a large audience worldwide with its distinctive interpretive approach, the ensemble is set to deliver one of the season’s cultural highlights with its Istanbul concert. Supported by Gen İlaç, tickets for the concert are available at Biletinial.com!
The “Janoska Style” on the AKM stage for the first time
Made up of virtuoso musicians from the Janoska family, whose roots stretch back to Slovakia and Austria, Janoska Ensemble is renowned for a unique interpretive approach known in the music world as the “Janoska Style”. Rather than simply interpreting classical works, the ensemble reconstructs them, offering a lively, dynamic stage narrative with improvisation at the heart of every performance.
Having performed at some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Elbphilharmonie, the Musikverein, the Konzerthaus and Tokyo Opera City, Janoska Ensemble has also reached the top of the classical charts with its albums. Its performances, widely covered in the international press, have earned the ensemble a distinguished place on the global stage.
A special repertoire of love, passion and elegance
At its Istanbul concert, Janoska Ensemble will invite audiences on an emotional and energetic musical journey with a repertoire prepared specially for Valentine’s Day. Built around the themes of love, passion and elegance, the programme will feature classical masterpieces alongside the surprise arrangements that have become the ensemble’s signature.
Having played to sold-out houses at its Valentine’s Day concerts across Europe, Janoska Ensemble is expected to draw great interest for its AKM concert too.
