The first trailer for season 2 of ‘Ahsoka’, the Emmy-winning Star Wars series, has been released. The new season of the Lucasfilm production will stream on Disney+ from 20 January 2027.
Starring Rosario Dawson, Hayden Christensen and Eman Esfandi, the series’ first episode reached 14 million views worldwide, making it Disney+’s most-watched series.
With Rosario Dawson returning as Ahsoka Tano, the new season is set after the fall of the Empire and the rise of the New Republic. As the galaxy faces a formidable foe in Grand Admiral Thrawn, Ahsoka questions what it truly means to be a Jedi.
While Ahsoka and her Jedi apprentice Sabine Wren search for a way home, their friends Hera, Ezra, Zeb and Chopper confront Thrawn and his dark allies, who are determined to drag the New Republic into war. The season is helmed by Lucasfilm President and Chief Creative Officer Dave Filoni.
