The first Turkish-dubbed trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s eagerly awaited Shrek 5 has been released. The film arrives in cinemas in 2027.
Okan Bayülgen, the Turkish voice of Shrek since the first film, returns to the role once again, while Giray Altınok joins the Shrek universe as the voice of Donkey.
In the original voice cast, Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz return as Shrek, Donkey and Fiona. Zendaya joins as Felicia, the daughter of Shrek and Fiona, with Marcello Hernandez and Skyler Gisondo voicing her siblings Fergus and Farkle.
The film is directed by Shrek franchise veterans Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn, produced by Gina Shay and Chris Meledandri, with Brad Ableson as co-director. Based on William Steig’s book, the franchise won the first-ever Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2001, and the four films have grossed more than $2.9 billion worldwide.
