MIX Festival by Modundayız, organised by Zorlu PSM under the motto “a polyphonic festival”, celebrates its 10th edition with a programme on the evening of 6 November. Among the festival’s headline names is the British duo Sleaford Mods.
Made up of vocalist Jason Williamson and producer Andrew Fearn, Sleaford Mods are one of the standout acts of the UK’s alternative scene, known for a sound that blends punk, hip hop and electronic music and for their critical take on social issues.
The band’s 13th studio album, “The Demise Of Planet X”, released on Rough Trade Records, reached number 6 on the UK albums chart and topped the independent albums chart. Recorded at Abbey Road for the first time, the album features guests including actor Gwendoline Christie and singer Aldous Harding.
