“Bu Festival Bizim” (This Festival Is Ours), the music festival organised by Kreşendo in collaboration with Paribu Art, returns for its fifth edition in Istanbul on 12–14 November. The festival opens at Komünite on 12 November and continues at Paribu Art on 13–14 November.
Setting out this year to “transform the time we live in” at a moment when everything looks alike and is quickly consumed, the festival offers talks, workshops and meet-ups alongside its music programme. Workshop and pop-up market areas will also be open all day on 13–14 November.
Melody’s Echo Chamber, Güneş, aisu, Lady Shaka, Dilan Balkay, ARKADAŞ, 2MUCH!, Okay Vivian and OD BAND will perform on the Paribu Art stage.
The opening night, held in collaboration with Komünite, features Berlin-based Stella & The Longos, founded by Paris-born vocalist and DJ Stella Zekri and Italian producer Ed Longo. Bringing together musicians from Germany, France, Italy and Latin America, the band draws on the multicultural French productions of the 1980s.
