Following its “TROYA” (Troy) performance at AKM Türk Telekom Opera Hall on 1 October, Anadolu Ateşi (Fire of Anatolia) has set off on an extensive tour of Russia. Comprising 16 shows in total, the tour covers cities across Russia in October and November.
Led by general artistic director Mustafa Erdoğan, the company brings Anatolia’s cultural heritage to the stage through the universal language of dance. Inspired by Homer’s Iliad, TROYA reinterprets universal themes such as love, betrayal, courage and sacrifice through dance, music and visual storytelling.
From Moscow to St. Petersburg and from Kazan to Sochi, the company is presenting Russian audiences with a performance that combines traditional Anatolian dances with a contemporary stage language.
